Sultan Qaboos Sports Academy
Back to ProjectsMr Jamal was part of the team who designed the competition entry for the Sultan Qaboos Sports Academy for Ministry of Sports Affairs. The proposed Academy is located adjacent to the existing Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Bousher.
The program includes Indoor Aquatic Arena, Indoor Tennis Arena and Indoor Multi-Sports Arena. Each arena has an adjacent training center and all arena is connected via a main public atrium. Staff, athletes and couches have independent circulation routes from public realm. The proposed Academy Complex also includes a 3 Star Hotel for Athletes, High Performance Zone, VIP, VVIP lounges along with outdoor sporting and training facilities.
